The 1 Watt Leica DA220 signal generator transmits a signal out to buried pipes and cables that might not have a detectable signal. The Leica DD220 cable locator can then be used to pick up the signal emitted by the Leica DA generator. The DA220 is compact, durable and simple for the user. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the DD220 SMART locator to accurately and easily locate and avoid underground pipes and cables.
