There was no taking it easy for M&P Survey staff and their families on Sunday morning as a team of fundraisers took on the Wirral Coastal Walk.
The four mile trek took the team from the start point at Seacombe Ferry Terminal, along the Wirral coastline to Wallasey Control Point. Some walkers even decided to head back to the start point, racking up a total of eight miles!
In the weeks leading up to the event, M&P staff had been busy getting sponsorships to raise money for nominated charity Stick ‘n’ Step, who they have been supporting with various fundraising initiatives through the year.
Molly Ramsay, who organised M&P’s participation in the Coastal Walk, said: “Everyone should be proud of themselves for completing the walk and raising as much money as possible for Stick ‘n’ Step. I’m so glad we could all do this together as a team, and for a cause that matters so much to us”.
There’s still time if you would like to support our fundraisers by making a small donation to Stick ‘n’ Step. Please use the M&P JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mp-survey
The Wirral Coastal Walk is an annual event which has been organised by The Rotary Club of North Wirral since 1986. Thousands of walkers take part every year to raise funds for charities and good causes. http://www.wirralcoastalwalk.org/
