M&P Survey Equipment have continued in their efforts to raise funds for a local cerebral palsy charity by hosting a dress down day at their Chester offices. Staff at the survey equipment specialists went casual for the day on Thursday 28th February and collected donations to Wirral-based charity Stick ‘n’ Step.
Stick ‘n’ Step was selected as the company’s charity of choice for 2019 at the start of the year and the dress down day is just one of the fundraising ventures M&P Survey will be undertaking.
Since their formation in 2002, Stick ‘n’ Step has worked with children and young people with cerebral palsy from all across North West England and North Wales. They currently offer free conductive education sessions at their Wallasey and Runcorn centres.
As a fully independent registered charity, the organisation receives 100% of its funding from donations and grants. For this reason, Stick ‘n’ Step’s fantastic work relies on the generosity of local individuals, communities and businesses.
Employing a team of professionals to work with over 90 children and families on a weekly basis, it costs Stick ‘n’ Step over £4,500 per child per year to allow them to benefit from their services.
